Long time, no write!

I've been pondering this whole Independent World going from a company to a community. I must admit, I'm kind of bummed. I enjoyed being an affiliate for them and I had a pretty many sales under my belt, which meant some extra cash for me. Not a lot, but hey, money is money!

What I am surprised about is that they are REFUNDING past customers if they decide to join the community by signing up on 2 sites as a referral. Personally, I think that is a dumb idea. People paid for their e-book and support. A whopping $12.99, I mean, that's NOT a lot of money for what was given. IW is run by a stay at home mom with 3 kids. She is in no way rich and whatever money she did make by writing and selling her e-book, she's going to lose. Businesses change direction all the time but they don't go giving 100% refunds! I'm just really shocked by this. I am not going to ask for a refund. I agreed to the terms when I bought the e-book. It has obviously been helpful to me and I know I can contact the staff at IW for help, so what's the big deal? I will still get access to the members section and members forum. The ONLY difference is that I don't have to join a GPT site under them.
I understand the line of thinking. If their members don't make money, they don't make money and they want to help their members. It's really no different than say, someone like me, trying to get referrals. This is just being done on a larger scale.
Yes, you can make a decent amount of money from referrals but that's only IF they actually participate on the GPT site. What if people join the sites required but just don't bother to participate? IW is now giving away their e-book, their services, etc and getting NOTHING in return.
Just stupid, if you ask me. But, who asked, right?

September has been a crazy month. I didn't meet my goal of $2,000 but I did do well.

Let me clear up any misunderstandings. MOST people will NOT make $1,000 - $2,000 a month right away. I have utilized the support staff at Independent World. I have read their e-Book and I have DONE what they suggest. You will NOT make a good amount of money if you do not apply yourself.

Seems many people read my blog here and then think I am nuts because it's not possible to earn what I earn. Well, it is. I never said I didn't work for what I get. I do, but hey, I work FROM HOME!

Why?

I have been asked *why* by many people. Why did I pay for an e-book on how to be successful making money online, utilizing GPT sites when there is so much FREE information on the internet? There are forums, websites, blogs, and even the sites themselves have some information and help to offer.

My answer is simple.
I wanted to have the information right there in front of me in a nice little PDF. It's something that is handy to reference. I didn't want to have to do the leg work searching all over the place and scoping out the forums, the sites, people's blogs and websites.

Actually, most people that have websites and blogs about GPT sites and other online money making ventures do have an ulterior motive. They will tell you don't pay, they are willing to give the info for free, BUT, guess what? I bet they also are hoping to have you join a site as their referral. Ahhhh, so they DO make money off of you anyway.
Okay, so it's not like you handed them money but they preach *free*, when in fact, they are most likely making money off of those they said they were *helping* for free. You're next! No, I don't think so.

I paid $12.99, that's it. I have TWO e-books here on my computer that helps me with this stuff. I know I can email support at Independent World at any time and get help.

Seriously, it was ONLY $12.99. It was MORE than worth it.

Half way there!

I am half way to my goal this month! I'm excited! Some of my readers have suggested I post some pictures of proof of payment. I don't know WHY I never thought of that! I guess because I really have nothing to gain through this blog but bragging rights! I mean, yes, I am an affiliate with Independent World but it's not as if I am racking up sales for them! Plus, their eBook price is so low that I only make a few bucks if a sale comes via a link I provide. I honestly have NO reason t lie about earnings.
However, posting proof of payment, yes, I will do that.
